June 29th and July 6th Rock the Park Music Events
The Rock the Park music events are planned for June 29th and July 6th in Whiteside Park. Beverages will be provided by the Ely Fire Relief Association and Food Trucks will be in the park for this fun, family event.

JULY 4th EVENTS
Ely Track Club’s 4 on the 4th
4 mile Run and Walk at Miner’s Lake Trezona Trailhead – Run starts at 8am - the Walk starts at 8:10am - The Kids Race (12 and Under) starts at 8:15pm
RAISING OF THE FLAG
10 am at the Ely Veterans Memorial The Ely Legion and VFW Commanders along with the Ely Honor Guard will start the day with a short Patriotic Program.
At Miners Drive and Pioneer Road intersection.
ELY 4TH OF JULY PARADE --
The City of Ely 4th of July Parade will be on Thursday, July 4th at 1:00pm. Parade starts at 4th Ave and Harvey St and follows Harvey Street to 2nd Ave East and then down Sheridan St, ending at 8th Ave and Harvey St (Whiteside Park)
Line up starts at 10:00am along 4th Avenue - Please come into the line up area on Boundary Street and 4th Avenue and the Parade Officials will direct you to your lineup spot.
We will have judging on the following categories: Commercial, Non Commercial, and Most Patriotic. Judging will be from 10am - Noon.
Please call City Hall, Clerk’s Office at 218-365-3224 Ext 1 to sign up to be in the parade.
KIDS Wanted to Participate in the Parade - There will be ribbons & cash prizes awarded for kids entering the parade with decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, costumes, etc. Judging will be from 11:00 - Noon in front of the "AFU" Building (111 S 4th Ave E) The kids that participate in the parade will be towards the beginning of the parade so they can still enjoy the parade. The Ely Events has put together decorating bags for kids, if they would like to decorate their bike, wagons, etc, you can pick up a bag of decorating items at Ely City Hall in the Clerk’s Office.
YOUNG LIFE SPONSORED ACTIVITIES AND FOOD IN WHITESIDE PARK from 11-4
Young Life is again hosting the activities in the park. There will be picnic food in the pavilion and activities for kids, adults and families. (See Poster for More Details)
2023 CITY OF ELY FIREWORKS
The Fireworks Display will be put on by Premier Pyrotechnics. The show is scheduled to start at 10:00pm on the East side of Miners Lake.

The City of Ely and the Ely Events Committee needs your donations to continue to help support the 4th of July Activities that is enjoyed by hundreds of families and visitors every year.
