Notice is hereby given that the Ely Utilities Commission and the Ely City Council will be holding a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 3,  2026 at 5:00 PM in Ely City Hall, Council Chambers, for the following purpose:

To discuss and to hear public comment on amending the City of Ely’s Facility Plan for the Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) and collection system to mitigate inflow and infiltration and address aging infrastructure at the WWTF.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Ely will hold a Public Hearing on April 7, 2026 at  Ely City Hall, Council Chambers at 209 E Chapman St, Ely, Minnesota at 5:15pm regarding Ordinance 397 (Zoning 900 E Miners Drive from P1 to C1), Ordinance 398 (Adding Animal Rescue and Dog/Cat Boarding to Permissible and Conditional Uses List Via Conditional Use Permit), and Ordinance 399 (Business Park Covenants).

The 1^st Reading of the Ordinances are on the city website at https://www.ely.mn.us/ordinances

All interested parties may submit communication regarding the public hearings to the Clerk’s Office, 209 E Chapman St, Ely, MN, 55731, 218-365-3224 Ext 1, deputyclerk@ely.mn.us, or in person at the public hearings.
