November 19th, 2025 BOA Conditional Use Permit Public Hearing - 1759 N Pioneer Rd

The Ely Board of Adjustment will be holding a public hearing for considering a Conditional Use Permit on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 at 5:15 pm in the City Hall council chambers.  At this public hearing the Board of Adjustment will be considering the approval of a Conditional Use Permit Application submitted by Patrick Knudson, on behalf of Rock Country Masonry; proposed location of 1759 N Pioneer Rd, Parcel #030-0500-00050, and Parcel #030-0500-00053. The applicant is seeking a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the use of the property as a Resort, and is looking to add an additional (5) cottages/enclosures for short-term rental. Knudson and Rock Country Masonry is the perspective buyer of the property, and not the current owner. The property is zoned Shoreland Mixed Use (SMU), Resorts are allowed by Conditional Use Permit Only, per Ordinance 391, 2nd series. 

Public comment will be heard on the date of the hearing and/or may be submitted to any of the following addresses below on or before November 17th to be included in the public hearing. Names and addresses must be submitted in order for comments to be recorded into the hearing minutes.
