Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee - Ad Hoc

City of Ely Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee 

Goals of the Steering Committee:

- Develop survey & focus group questions

- Develop target audiences

- Develop a marketing budget to submit with the 2027 budget

- If applicable, hire a survey and contractor to write the comprehensive plan and submit costs with the 2027 budget

- Review the final plan and submit it to council for final approval by the end of 2027.

Emily Roose - Ely City Councilor

David Hernesmaa - Planning & Zoning Commissioner

Cole Kellogg - At Large Member (Low income preferred)

Kelsey Lee - At Large Member (Downtown business owner preferred)

Margaret Egan - At Large Member

Scott Kochendorfer - Planning & Zoning Administrator (Non- voting member)
