The Ely Planning and Zoning Commission (Board of Adjustment) will hold a hearing pursuant to Ely City Code 11.43.A Variances, considering approval of a variance to allow for an 8 feet high fence; 20 feet long on E Camp St, 240 feet long adjacent to 2040 E Camp St, and 20 feet long on N 21^st Ave E. The location of the proposal is at 115 N 21st Ave E. City code restricts fence heights along streets and avenues to a maximum of 4 feet, and a maximum of 6 feet elsewhere. This hearing will take place on July 16th, 2025 at 5:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at 209 E Chapman St, Ely, MN.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Ely will hold a Public Hearing on July 15, 2025 at  Ely City Hall, Council Chambers at 209 E Chapman St, Ely, Minnesota at 5:15pm regarding Ordinances 390 and 391.
